Infant Sleep Positioner

test

Plagiocephaly, or “flat head syndrome” occurs when a portion of a baby’s head become flattened usually due to extended periods of pressure to one side or a portion of the head during sleep.  If problem is not fixed by one-years old when baby’s soft cartilage starts to ossify, it would not only influence the appearance but may cause problems in learning, auditory, visual disabilities, etc. Studies show that up to 48% of infants in the U.S. have some degree of plagiocephaly as of today. We conducted user research and market research to identified needs for parents and infants as well as the market to introduce the new product. The Infant Sleep Positioner is designed and developed to prevent positional plagiocephaly in infants 0-6 months of age.
